CHES Furnaces enable substrate manufacturers to produce large diameter (4”, 6”, 8”, 10” and larger), LED-quality sapphire for mass production. CHES technology will significantly reduce the cost of LED production, and ultimately the cost of solid state lighting for consumers versus competitive products.
